Qin (ShuangQin) Zhang, MD is a hematology-oncologist at the Peeples Cancer Institute in Georgia. She also holds a clinical assistant professorship with Medical College of Georgia, Department of Medicine, in her role as a lecturer and mentor for medical students and internal medicine residents. Dr. Zhang received her bachelor’s from the University of Alabama at Birmingham via the Early Medical School Acceptance Program, and medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. She then completed her hematology-oncology fellowship at the University of Chicago, where her academic focus was in Gastrointestinal Oncology and translational clinical trials. Following fellowship, she was recruited by a private medical oncology practice in Georgia, where she eventually served as the Director of Medical Oncology for North Fulton WellStar Hospital. At present, Dr. Zhang sees a wide range of both hematology and oncology patients, with a focus on medical oncology education.
