Meet Jetta

When I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer, I was absolutely shocked. In addition to the extensive chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation that was needed, my OBGYN brought up the fact that I should look into egg freezing as well. I am only 30

years old and I do not have any children yet. Of course, my insurance would not fully cover egg freezing and I did not have an additional $10,000-$15,000 to spare on treatment.

It all felt very overwhelming since I had a very strict start date of chemotherapy. I was so grateful to find out that Team Maggie would be willing to help

even after starting my fertility treatment. I am so grateful for Team Maggie for helping alleviate some of the financial strain of this diagnosis. I am hopeful that I will be able to get married after treatment and use my frozen eggs to start a family in the next few

years.
