Meet Molly

Hello, my name is Molly. At the age of 19, I was diagnosed with a rare and incurable form of non-hodgkin's lymphoma which is also known as follicular lymphoma. I was just made an aunt earlier in 2022 and had no doubt I wanted a huge family of my own. It will always be the hardest part of this journey hearing the words that your longing for a family could be stripped from you at such a young age. My oncologist suggested that I look into egg retrieval but I found it was going to be financially draining. After extensive research I found Team Maggie’s Dream. With the financial help of Team Maggie’s Dream I was able to have 23 eggs harvested so that one day I wouldn’t have to worry about creating a family of my own. The biggest thing I have learned from this chapter of my life is that support can help you get through everything a little easier.
